Maneesha Wijethunga is a dedicated advocate for social justice and humanitarian causes, driven by a profound passion for making a positive impact in society. Holding a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Maneesha’s academic background provided her with a solid foundation for her endeavors in the field of humanitarian work and social sciences.
Her journey into the realm of social work began with a pivotal opportunity as a Management Trainee at the Sri Lanka Red Cross Society (SLRCS). Inspired by her academic studies, Maneesha was drawn to the impactful work carried out by organizations like the Red Cross.
