The Sri Lanka Red Cross Society provides Restoring Family Links (RFL) services, including tracing and Red Cross Messaging, to help reconnect family members who have been separated due to conflict, disasters, migration, or other humanitarian crises.
Tracing services can be initiated when the whereabouts of a family member or loved one are unknown. The Sri Lanka Red Cross Society collects the available information and, works with relevant components of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement to try to locate the person.
Red Cross Messages may be used to help restore or maintain communication between family members when the location of the sought person is known, but regular means of communication are unavailable or disrupted.

What first aid courses does the Sri Lanka Red Cross Society offer, and how can I join?

The Sri Lanka Red Cross Society offers a range of First Aid training programmes for individuals, volunteers, schools, workplaces, companies, government and non-government institutions, organisations and other groups.
The training options include Basic First Aid, Advanced First Aid, First Aid Instructor Training, First Aid Refresher Training and specialised courses such as CPR and trauma-related training. SLRCS also offers commercial first aid training programmes, including one-day, two-day and basic first aid courses, depending on the needs of the participants or organisation.
