Building the Next Generation of Life-Savers: First Aid Training for Junior Red Cross Circle in Badulla
Sri Lanka Red Cross Society’s Badulla Branch has taken a significant step towards empowering youth by conducting a comprehensive First Aid training program for the Junior Red Cross Circle at Humbhamada Vidyalaya. This initiative is more than just a training session—it’s an investment in the future, equipping young minds with the critical skills needed to save lives.
Through hands-on training, students learned essential First Aid techniques, preparing them to respond effectively in emergencies. The program not only imparted practical life-saving skills but also instilled a deep sense of responsibility and community service among the participants. These young members of the Junior Red Cross Circle are now better prepared to take action when it matters most, whether in their schools, homes, or communities.
This initiative reflects the core values of the Sri Lanka Red Cross Society, which places humanity and preparedness at the heart of every endeavor. By empowering these students with the knowledge and confidence to act in emergencies, we are nurturing a future generation that prioritizes the well-being of others and stands ready to make a difference.
As these young life-savers step into their roles, they embody the spirit of the Red Cross—dedicated, compassionate, and ready to serve. Together, we are building a safer and more resilient community, one student at a time.
