Appreciating the support of volunteers
14/12/2013 – Colombo, Sri Lanka: The Sri Lanka Red Cross Society (SLRCS), Colombo Branch appreciated their volunteers on the 14th of December 2013 at the Gothatuwa Maha Vidyalaya Sports Ground for the outstanding Humanitarian activities conducted by these Units established by the Colombo District branch.
Chairman of the SLRCS Colombo Branch Jagath Abeysinghe, The Deputy Director General of the Sri Lanka Red Cross Society, Sudath Madugalle, The District Secretary Kamal Padmasiri, The Divisional Secretary of the Kolonnawa area and the District Disaster Management Center and other officials from the National Head Quarters were present at the ceremony.
Awards and cash grants were awarded to the Units and their volunteers to appreciate the Humanitarian work rendered by them.
