Appreciating the backbone of our Society .. our Volunteers

21/12/2016 – Mannar, Sri Lanka: A volunteer appreciation programme was conducted by the Mannar Branch of Sri Lanka Red Cross recently in order to appreciate the hard work by the volunteers on various projects of the branch.  104 such volunteers who are working for health and nutrition project travelled to Trincomalee District for the event. Most of these volunteers have been with the Red Cross for over several years.

During the event volunteers took part in a team building exercises and also were provided them with certificates of appreciation.
