With an aim to better serve our vulnerable communities, Sri Lanka Red Cross Society (SLRCS) is establishing a consultancy pool to engage experts in various thematic areas including Disaster Management, Disaster Risk Reduction, Agriculture, Water Management and Irrigation, Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation, Climate Science, Livelihood, Health and Nutrition, Food Security, Strategic Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting, Information Management,  Community Engagement and Accountability, Gender and Inclusion, Anticipatory Action and related fields.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the mentioned thematic areas.
  • Proven experience in consultancy roles, preferably with international organizations, Non-Governmental/Non-Profit Organizations, etc.
  • Ability to work effectively in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is an asset.

The SLRCS conducts its general administrative and operational affairs in English Language. The appointment will be on a fixed term contract basis.  Only short-listed applicants will be called for interviews.
