Shramadana Campaign by Junior Red Cross Members

06/06/2014 – Medagama, Moneragala – A shramadana Campaign was held at the Monarawana Junior School at Medagama in Moneragala recently. During the campaign the Junior Red Cross members cleaned the school premises in order to keep the school clean and safe. The junior members also engaged in cleaning the school playground, as well as the school water well as well.

Due to the prevailing drought in the area, it is very difficult for them to find water in this area.

Over 35 junior Red Cross members participated in the campaign.
