Our Kurunegala branch gets a new home

16/08/2013 – The Sri Lanka Red Cross (SLRCS) Kurunegala Branch moved to a new building under the auspices of the President of SLRCS Jagath Abeysinghe  today.

The new building consists of 3 story’s, with all necessary facilities. The building was funded by  the German Red Cross, Sri Lanka Red Cross Society and the Kurunegala branch itself.

Chairman of the Kurunegala Branch Mr.  A.M.B. Abeyrathna, Secretary of the branch Mrs. Swarna Wijesinghe,  Senior Superintendent of Police of  Nikaweratiya Division Mr. Chandana Alahakoon (Vice Chairman of Kegalle Branch), Branch Executive Officer Wasantha Priyadarshani  along with many other volunteers and branch officials were present at the event.
