Blood Donation campaign in Kandy

(17/07/2013 – Susuhumpola, Kandy) Sri Lanka Red Cross Society Kandy branch organized a Blood Donation campaign at Kandy Suduhumpola temple with the support of Kandy Gravest youth division and other stakeholders participation.

Branch youth members and branch officers supported for pre-arrangement such as finding a venue, publicity and coordinate with Kandy blood bank officials.

Acting Chairman and Branch Executive Officer also participated at the event. Branch youth members supported the hospital staff in order to register blood donors and provide refreshment to the blood donors and staff during the day.

19 blood pints have donated to the Blood Bank Kandy and Kandy Gravest division took the leading role to accomplished the activity
