Refreshing the knowledge on First Aid in Ampara
23/02/2012 – Ampara, Sri Lanka: Ampara Branch organized the annual First Aid Camp this year on 18th and 19th of February at Manthottama school which is around 40 Km far from Ampara.
It was a refresher training and a team building exercise for the volunteers as well as staff members who are active in providing first aid for whenever requested.
Those who provided service at Okkana holy temple for more than 15 days were specially appreciated and given away souvenirs for their valuable voluntary service. In the night this gathering was made colorful with fire works and cultural events.
Participants of 50 volunteers and staff members represented Tamil, Sinhala and Muslim communities. Canadian Red Cross and the branch funded for the event.
