Activities with Emirates Red Crescent funding

12.5 tonnes of rice, dhal, tea etc distributed to 500 families in Kolonnawa in the Colombo District in May 2016
2.5 tonnes of rice, dhal, tea etc distributed to 100 families in Dompe in the Gampaha District in May 2016
9 tonnes of rice, dhal, tea etc distributed to 363 families in Biyagama in the Gampaha District in May 2016
10 medical camps with 3 doctors in each along with medicine supported by EmRC treated over 2500 patients in the Colombo District in May 2016

Delegates from Emirates Red Crescent too responded to provide aid and support to Sri Lanka Red Cross Society. Non food relief items were distributed with their support in Colombo and Gampaha districts. ERC also hopes to provide more support in the long run with the transformation towards long term recovery.
