Activities with Turkish Red Crescent funding

• Gifted 20 family tents, 100 blankets and 100 solar lamps to Government Disaster Management Centre in May 2016.
• Donated 477 nos of night dresses, 2742 nos undergarments, 648 nos of women undergarments, 636 nos of sanitary packs to landslide vicitms in the Kegalle District in May 2016. 

The Turkish Red Crescent immediately sent relief supplies within 48hours of the disaster. A delegate along with supplies of tents, blankets and solar powered lights were dispatched to Colombo. Steps where also taken by the Turkish Red Crescent to provide more aid. Today non food relief items were distributed in the Bulathkohupitiya area where the second landslide took place.
