News houses vested in the public in Mannar

10/11/2015 – Mannar, Sri Lanka: The Sri Lanka Red Cross Society (SLRCS) in collaboration with the Qatar Red Crescent vested in the public recently in Erukkalampiddy and Kondatchchi in the Mannar District. This is part of the community support provided by the Mannar Branch of SLRCS.

114 houses 6 shops as livelihood support, two tube wells as water and sanitation support and a mosque was built from funding by the Qatar Red Crescent.

Minister of Industry & Commerce of the Government of Sri Lanka Rishad Bathiyutheen, Public Affairs Advisor & Director of Resources Mobilization from the Qatar Red Crescent Mr. Adel Ali Al-Baker, Head of Asia office – Relief &  International Development Department of Qatar Red Crescent Mr.Said Tijani, Mannar Branch Chairman of SLRCS Mr. J. J. Kennedy, Branch Executive Officer Mr. S. Kugendren and volunteers and staff of Mannar branch were present at the hand over ceremony.
